Industrial Química Lasem commenced operations in 1947 and concentrated on production within the oleochemical sector, where it earned its reputation as one of Spain¿s pioneer companies.

The company was initially located in Barcelona but relocated to Terrassa in the mid-1970s, a move which enabled it to expand its production capacity and to further develop its product range.

Since its establishment, it has gone from supplying the base raw materials for local industry to consolidating its presence in Europe, exporting its products to more that forty countries and supplying top-quality finished products for high-tech applications.

Industrial Química Lasem also offers the possibility to develop tailor made products for specific applications.

Ever-expanding

Industrial Química Lasem is one of the various companies that make up Grup Lasem. The majority of these companies operate within the food products sector.

At present we are recognised as one of the leading companies in the world producing and supplying Fatty Esters, for most part based on renewable vegetable raw materials, especially designed for use in the Cosmetics, Lubricants, Pharmacy-Veterinary, Plastics and Rubber, Textiles and Leather, Inks, Food products, etc.

It is equipped with modern facilities that enable it to reach a production output of 30.000 tons per year, making it one of today¿s largest manufacturers with unlimited possibilities for international expansion.

In this respect, Industrial Química Lasem has an extensive worldwide distribution network that gives it a presence in thirty-odd countries and enables it to attend to customer needs in over forty.
